Where is My Bus?
Track your bus route
We use a GPS tracker on all of our bus services so you can check your bus route in real time.
Operated by Wilson’s Transportation Ltd.
The BC Ferries Connector offers service between Victoria and Vancouver. Here are a few things you should know about Bus Tracking for this service:
- The tracker is split into two parts, a list and a map. On smaller screens and mobile devices, the list section may be on a different tab called “Route Details”.
- The tracker will always show the current location of the bus on the map part of the tracker, so you can always see where the bus currently is on the route.
- The list part of the tracker will show the bus as “late” when the bus is onboard the BC Ferries sailing. It will update the times correctly once the bus turns it’s engine back on at the end of the sailing, and starts driving to it’s final destination.
- The list part of the tracker will list the departure times and arrival times for the Vancouver & Victoria Bus Depots, as well as the Swartz Bay & Tsawwassen Ferry Terminals.
- Only the main buses travelling between Victoria and Vancouver will be trackable. Specialty pickups and drop offs at Vancouver Hotels, Vancouver Cruise Terminal, and Vancouver Airport cannot be tracked at this time, but you can track the portion of your trip that takes place on our main bus route.
- For anyone getting on or off at a stop enroute, (Examples: Cambie & Broadway, Douglas & Finlayson), the list part of the tracker will not list your stop specifically, but you can zoom in and out on the map part of the tracker to the location of your stop, so you can see how far away the bus currently is from it, as you will always be able to see the current location of the bus.
- The blue dotted line on the map does not show the correct route, it can be ignored.
- Reminder: Please do not try to meet the bus at an alternate pickup location based on the tracker if you are running late. You must be waiting at the correct scheduled location and time listed on your ticket.
Operated by Tofino Bus Services Inc.
The Tofino Bus and VI Connector offers service on Vancouver Island between Victoria and Tofino, with stops at towns and cities along the way. Here are a few things you should know about Bus Tracking for this service:
- The Tracker is in two parts, a list and a map. On smaller screens and mobile devices, the list section may be on a different tab called “Route Details”.
- The tracker will always show the current location of the bus on the map part of the tracker, so you can always see where the bus currently is on the route.
- The list part of the tracker will list the departure times and arrival times for the first and last locations on the route.
- For anyone getting on or off at a stop enroute, (Examples: Duncan, Parksville, Port Alberni), the list part of the tracker will not list your stop specifically, but you can zoom in and out on the map part of the tracker to the location of your stop, so you can see how far away the bus currently is from it, as you will always be able to see the current location of the bus on the map part of the tracker.
- The blue dotted line on the map does not show the correct route, it can be ignored.
- Reminder: Please do not try to meet the bus at an alternate pickup location based on the tracker if you are running late. You must be waiting at the scheduled location and time listed on your ticket.
Mount Washington Ski Bus is currently closed for the season. Departures will be posted here for the service from December-April while the service is operating.
Operated by Vancouver Island Coachlines
The Mount Washington Ski Bus offers service between Victoria and the Mount Washington Alpine Resort. Here are a few things you should know about Bus Tracking for this service:
- The tracker is in two parts. A list of stops, and a map showing the actual bus location. On smaller screens and mobile devices, the list section may be on a different tab called “Route Details”.
- The tracker will always show the current location of the bus on the map, so you can always see where the bus currently is.
- In the event that the bus does not stop at one of our scheduled locations (no passengers booked for that stop), the list part of the tracker will continue to insist that the bus is going towards the skipped stop and is late. Due to this, we recommend passengers ignore the approximate arrival/departure times shown on the list part of the tracker, and only use the map part of the tracker to determine how far the bus is from your scheduled location.
- Reminder: Please do not try to meet the bus at an alternate pickup location based on the tracker if you are running late. You must be waiting at the scheduled location and time listed on your ticket.
